Commercial Kitchen Refurbishment Engineering Support

Engineering support for commercial kitchen refurbishments, including equipment assessment, relocation, installation, replacement and commissioning.

We Are Ready To Help You

A commercial kitchen refurbishment often involves a mixture of equipment that is staying, moving, being replaced or being added for the first time. Engineering input helps identify what can realistically be reused, what services are required and how equipment should be disconnected, relocated and recommissioned. For related support, see Commercial Kitchen Equipment Condition Surveys.

Before refurbishment work starts

An equipment survey can help establish make, model, condition, utility requirements and whether each appliance is suitable for reuse.

  • Existing equipment condition
  • Gas and electrical requirements
  • Water and drainage requirements

Relocating existing equipment

Moving commercial appliances is not simply a furniture exercise. Equipment may need safe disconnection, inspection after relocation and recommissioning before being returned to service. Related support is available through Commercial Kitchen Equipment Relocation.

New and replacement equipment

Where appliances are being replaced, checking connection loads and physical clearances before ordering reduces the risk of late changes during the refurbishment. For fault-specific information, see Commercial oven not reaching temperature.
