Commercial Kitchen Maintenance

Commercial kitchen maintenance and planned servicing for catering equipment, gas appliances, refrigeration and warewashing systems.

We Are Ready To Help You

Commercial kitchen maintenance is about keeping equipment reliable enough for the way the site actually operates. High-use ovens, fryers, warewashing machines and refrigeration equipment deteriorate gradually through heat, grease, scale, vibration, worn components and long operating hours. For related support, see Commercial Catering Equipment Servicing.

What commercial kitchen maintenance can include

The appropriate maintenance schedule depends on the appliance type, manufacturer guidance, operating hours, environment and the consequences of failure. A busy production kitchen may need a different programme from a low-volume staff kitchen.

  • Visual and operational equipment checks
  • Cleaning and inspection of service-critical components
  • Temperature, heating and cooling performance checks

Maintenance does not replace repairs

Planned maintenance reduces risk but cannot eliminate every failure. When equipment already has an active fault, it should be logged as a repair rather than waiting for the next planned visit. Related support is available through Planned Preventative Maintenance for Commercial Kitchens.

How often should catering equipment be maintained?

There is no universal interval for every appliance. Manufacturer instructions and the site's risk and usage should guide the schedule. For fault-specific information, see Commercial fridge temperature fluctuating.
